We are seeking individuals to help coordinate our communication and serve the membership at large. The time commitments are minimal but the rewards and impact are great.
Webmaster: This position would include updating the website with current and relevant information regarding the chapter and the CPCU organization as a whole, as well as monitoring it for any feedback we might receive. The time required for this position is about an hour a month, but can be more depending on the time available to work on the site, and level of creativity someone would want to bring. Training will be provided through National regarding site navigation and design. The ideal candidate would be someone who has a little background in this particular area, and is willing to take the time to explore how we can update our site for improved functionality as well as appearance.
Social Media Chairperson: Serve as the point of contact to coordinate communication via Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The goal is to inform members of upcoming events and to provide networking opportunities.
Goodworks Chairperson: The Goodworks Committee seeks to help others in the community by holding food drives, coat and toy collections for the holidays, and supporting various events to benefit local charities.
