The St Louis Chapter of CPCU is a community of credentialed property and casualty insurance professionals who promote excellence through ethical behavior and continuing education.
The CPCU Society is committed to providing resources, educational programs and leadership opportunities. We strive to attract talented individuals and enable members to expand their technical insurance skills and business capabilities in order to improve the overall performance of the insurance industry while adhering to the highest ethical standards.
The St Louis Chapter of CPCU 180 members hold the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®) designation, which is conferred by The Institutes and requires passing rigorous undergraduate- and graduate-level exams, meeting an experience requirement, and agreeing to be bound by a strict code of professional ethics.
Our Chapter includes insurance professionals from all facets of the insurance business in the St Louis Metropolitan area. We have consistently won national awards at the Society's Annual Meetings & Seminars. Several members have gone on the become District Governors.
We are committed to providing quality continuing education for our members to help them maintain the professionalism associated with the CPCU designation.
Our chapter is also involved in activities that benefit the community at large. Our Goodworks programs have included coat drives, food drives, participation in Habitat for Humanity, and assistance to other worthy charities in the St Louis area.
Our chapter meets once a month from September through May of each year (generally the second Tuesday of the month). Please see our updated Calendar for upcoming events.
